Philadelphia’s Insomnia Cookies is expanding its regional presence with two more locations, one of which will be in West Chester.
The company was founded 14 years ago at the University of Pennsylvania. It creates immensely popular cookies in various flavors, including chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, and S’mores deluxe.
The new West Chester shop will be at 142 West Gay Street, replacing the Olive Branch restaurant. While no date has been given by the company’s spokeswoman, it is expected that the new location will open its doors to eager customers sometime this summer.
